INTERNATIONAL ECD Conference, Dainfern College 12-13 April 2019

Key to Learning Africa- in collaboration with Dainfern College, will be hosting Galina Dolya, Vygotskian expert. Galina is an inspirational early years teacher and researcher, based in the UK and has recently been cited in the Springer International Handbook of Early Childhood Education, for her innovative Vygotskian approach to education in the Early Years. Galina will be the keynote speaker at our 2-day ECD Conference on the 12 & 13 April 2019. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from a 21st Century pioneer in early childhood education. Galina will be joined by other inspirational speakers who will share their passion and vision for playing with purpose. Speakers include: Prof. Josef de Beer & team from the University of North West Dr. Rinda Blom -Director of the Red Shoe Centre & Play therapist; Megan Faure & Lara Schoenfeld- Directors of PlaySense & Occupational Therapists; Sylinde Roodt – Speech & Language therapist; Elsa Venter – Colour Strings.

A little bit more about Galina:

Galina Dolya is the Curriculum Director of Key to Learning, which has developed an innovative Vygotskian approach to Early Years Education. She is an acknowledged world-leading expert on the practical application of Vygotsky’s Theory of Learning and Development. She has worked at every level from Early Years to University and trained hundreds of teachers and trainers worldwide. Currently she is a Researcher at the Pedagogical Academy of Preschool Education, Moscow. She is based in the UK.
